Ethical Choices: Activity 1, Static Responses

Hi All,

If youʻre interested in participating in the article discussion feel free to start here! This online survey  allows us to not only respond ... but to also view each others responses.  This static discussion method will give us the time to "listen", process and then formulate a written response that will be shared on next weeks discussion thread. Please note that the survey will close Friday, June 28th at 3pm

Hope to hear from yʻall.

Ethical Choices: Activity 2, Discussion Thread

Hi All,

Thank you sooo much for participating in last weekʻs survey! The following is a graph of our quantitative data. The lack of blue and red in this graph shows that while some of us feel more strongly than others on statements 1& 2 we still have 100% alignment.  This means when we get down to it (and deep into it) we all actually share the same values. Yay us!

Now we get to talk story.
Respond by clicking on the "comments" section under each post below. If you need to reference the Ethical Choices article, you can do so here.

Please remember to avoid using any identifiable information in your post. This includes anything related to our state, district, school, campus and especially our students.

Thanks agin for keeping it productive folks :)

Ethical Choices: Activty 3, When Theory Hits the Ground!

Hi All,

Now this is when we get to share our REAL LIFE experiences and then pull em apart to see why they worked! Please use the comments section below to share 2 situations when a more ACTIVE approach to Educational Interpreting resulted in,

1.) Meeting the educational goal AND satisfying all the consumers (teacher & student)
2.) Not meeting the educational goal BUT still satisfying all the consumers (teacher & student)

Be sure to include the controls you used that made the experience satisfying for your consumers. An example can be found at this link Ethical Choices: Activity 3 Comment Example.
